This month is about more effective collaboration between humans and AI: agents can now be reached from the AI tools that everyone is already using, experts can step into any conversation directly, and knowledge bases can take in what matters from conversations without taking in everything else. Here's what landed.
Access Experts in ChatGPT and Claude
Answers From Me now supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP) standard, acting as an MCP server for ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI tools. Seekers connect to their Answers From Me account once, and from then on they can find and ask any of their experts without leaving the tool they're already working in.

If they know an expert's handle, they can ask directly with @@handle — for example, "@@scott, tell me about the new Answers From Me MCP server". They can also ask conversationally, such as "Find me an Answers From Me expert on service design". The integration passes the conversation's context along to your agent, so a seeker can ask for a second opinion on whatever they're already discussing.
Conversations that start this way appear in the Conversations section like any other, so they can be picked up and continued later.

Take Over for Your Agent
Your agent helps you scale by being there around the clock for your audience, but sometimes a conversation calls for you personally — the topic is sensitive, or you need a little back-and-forth to clarify what's really being asked. You can now take any conversation over from your agent and hand it back when you're done.

While you have a conversation, your agent stops responding automatically and you can answer at your convenience. Your seeker can see that you've stepped in and is notified whenever you reply. Your dashboard groups the conversations you've taken over so none of them go unanswered. Hand back at any time and your agent resumes immediately.

Insights from Your Conversations and Uploads
Conversations often contain valuable knowledge mixed in with personal information, confidential data, or details that simply don't matter. Answers From Me can now extract insights automatically from your uploaded documents and your conversations, and index those insights into your knowledge base in place of the full content.

For uploads, select the Sensitive option when adding the upload and we'll generate insights and add those to your knowledge base instead of the full content. Insights for conversations can be enabled in your settings. Every insight is yours to review, edit, or delete.
Removed Support for Agent Avatars
We think the human connection is essential to Answers From Me, and it should always be clear whether a response is coming from an expert's agent or from the expert themselves. To that end, agents now use a generic avatar rather than a custom one, shown in the expert's preferred color.
