Automatically Created Agents

Modified on Tue, 9 Jun at 3:03 PM

You may have heard from us or discovered that we already built a knowledge agent for you, without you having to sign up with Answers From Me. This article explains why we did that, how the agent was created, and how to claim it (or opt out) if you'd like.

Why We Created an Agent for You

Someone has recognized you as an expert! We automatically create an agent for an expert in a few situations:

  • You're part of a group or event we're onboarding. When we bring a cohort, community, or event lineup onto Answers From Me, we set up an agent for each expert so it's ready the moment you arrive.
  • Someone requested it. A member of your audience, a follower, or a colleague asked us to stand up an agent so they could start getting answers from your content.
  • You're on an industry VIP list. We maintain lists of recognized experts whose knowledge their audiences are actively looking for, and we create agents for them proactively.

In every case, the agent is reserved for you. Nobody else can claim it, and you can take full control of it at any time.

How We Built Your Agent

We created your agent from your public, online content the material already available about you on the open web. We search public sources such as your website, articles, talks, interviews, podcasts, and other published work, then use that content to ground your agent's answers.

This is the same information Google, ChatGPT, and other tools can already see. The difference is in what we do with it and how we present it...

Why This Is Better Than Google, ChatGPT, or Another LLM

When someone asks Google, ChatGPT, Claude, or a general-purpose LLM a question about your field, they get a generic answer assembled from across the internet--often from the very same content we are using, but without your name attached, and without backlinks to your content. Your Answers From Me agent is different:

  • Grounded in your content. Answers come from your actual published work, not the open internet at large, so they reflect what you've genuinely said.
  • Credit and attribution. Your agent answers as you and points back to your sources, so you get the recognition (and the link traffic) for your ideas.
  • Cultivates your brand. Every conversation reinforces your voice and your expertise, rather than handing that engagement to a faceless model.
  • Makes your existing content more interactive and accessible. Instead of asking your audience to read or watch through everything you've ever published, your agent lets them ask a question and get a direct answer drawn from it.

Claim Your Agent Email

If we have a verified email address for you, you should have received a "Your Agent is Ready!" email with a "Claim Your Agent" button similar to the one below. If you never received it, let us know and we'll send it to you once we verify your correct email address.

Sample Welcome Email

The email contains a personalized link with instructions to register and take ownership of your agent. The link is for you only and can't be shared.

If you can't find the email, check your spam folder, or submit a support ticket and we'll help you get access.

What You Can Do Once You Claim Your Agent

Claiming your agent makes it yours to manage and share with your audience. Once you've claimed your agent, you can:

  • Review your audience's conversations. See every question your agent has been asked and every answer it has given.
  • Understand what your audience is interested in. Spot the topics, themes, and recurring questions your audience cares about most.
  • Reduce burnout by referring FAQs and emails to your agent. Refer the questions you answer over and over, and the emails that pile up, to your agent so it can handle the repetitive parts for you.
  • Share your public expert page URL. Your audience can easily find your agent and ask questions directly.
  • Monetize your expertise. You can charge directly for access to your agent, integrate your agent with your own subscription platform, or simply point users to your premium content when they ask a related question.

You can also adjust your profile, add or remove content, and fine-tune how your agent responds — it's all yours.

If You'd Rather Not

We only want your agent to exist if you want it to. If you'd prefer we didn't keep an agent for you, you have two options:

  • Unsubscribe and Delete. The "Claim your agent" email includes an Unsubscribe and Delete Agent link. Following it permanently deletes the agent we built for you and unsubscribes you from these emails. This can't be undone.
  • Reach out to us directly. If you run into any issues or have questions, submit a support ticket here in the help center, or email support@answersfrom.me, and we'll take care of it.
